Symbiosis
is a dance piece created and performed by six female dancers. Through the interplay of power and fragility, the work satirically reflects on social trends, collective behaviors, and the shifting fashions of our time. Endless repetitions of movement serve as a metaphor for cycles of consumption, identity, desire, and conformity in contemporary society.
Driven by an insistent rhythm, these recurring gestures accumulate into both pressure and release, generating a fragile sense of balance. Symbiosis not only explores how dancers navigate individuality within a collective but also mirrors the ways in which people today seek coexistence amidst contradictions, constraints, and societal expectations.
